PhytoForm exists because developing a phytogenic feed additive and exporting it should not require a regulatory department, a chemistry lab and six months of paperwork.
The problem we set out to solve
The livestock industry is moving away from antibiotic growth promoters, and phytogenic feed additives, blends of essential oils, extracts and botanicals, are filling the gap. The companies developing them, especially exporters, face a hard reality.
Regulatory fragmentation. Every market has its own framework: EFSA dossiers under Regulation 1831/2003 in the EU, FDA pathways in the US, MAPA registration in Brazil, the MARA catalogue in China, MAFF designation in Japan, SFDA in Saudi Arabia. Understanding what is required in even three markets can consume months and tens of thousands of dollars in consulting fees.
Formulation in a vacuum. Most companies formulate on efficacy alone, then discover during registration that an ingredient, an inclusion rate or a claim is not permitted in the target market. The result is wasted chemistry and products that cannot be sold where they are needed.
Document burden. Technical data sheets, certificates of analysis, safety summaries, dossier sections: each market expects a different structure and different references. Assembling a multi-market submission by hand is a full-time job.

From the field to the platform
Dr. Fayyaz Muhammad is a veterinary graduate (SKUAST Jammu, 2009) who spent over a decade in animal healthcare and nutrition, in clinical, technical and commercial roles with multinational companies.
In 2015 he founded Truevet Animal Nutrition to develop phytogenic alternatives to antibiotic feed additives and export them. Years of formulation work and registrations taught him that the bottleneck for a company like his was not the science; it was the system around it.
Which documents each authority expected, how a dossier had to be structured, which claims were permissible: none of it was centralised or accessible to a company without a regulatory team.
PhytoForm is the tool he wished existed. It encodes the botanical knowledge, formulation logic, regulatory requirements and document frameworks that would otherwise take years of experience to assemble, for any phytogenic exporter, from a two-person start-up to a multinational manufacturer.
